- Open Stock, then Counts, and choose a location and a type: a cycle count for a slice (a shelf, a supplier) or a full count.
- Under Count a product, scan or type each barcode or SKU and enter what is on the shelf.
- The difference from what Shopify had at the moment you scanned is shown line by line.
You can print a count sheet or download the count as a spreadsheet.
Save to Shopify
Save to Shopify writes each counted quantity to Shopify as the stock at that location. Any line whose stock moved since you counted it is skipped for a re-count, never overwritten. A saved stock-take can be undone from its page: each line goes back to the figure Shopify had before the count, unless the stock has moved since, in which case that line is kept and listed. Check the differences first all the same.
