Connecting an assistant

Connect

1. In Settings, Connections, under Assistant connections, give the connection a name you will recognise and press Create a connection.
2. Copy the connection address it shows. It is shown once and cannot be shown again, because Stockbeam does not keep a copy.
3. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with this address. When it asks about authentication, choose "No sign-in", even if another option is already selected.

Treat the address like a password. Revoke a connection in Settings to cut it off immediately.

What it can do

The assistant can read your reorder list, products, open orders, out-of-stock items, money committed, dead stock, buying plan and supplier performance, and start a draft purchase order for you to check and send yourself. It cannot send anything or change your stock.
